"The lowercase 'i' is constructed from a simple dot (also known as a tittle) and a vertical stroke, and yet, those two simple elements can be so diverse in their design. The 'i' is also a vowel and one of the most frequently used letters in the English language. Each of the lowercase 'i's illustrated in the typefaces indicated are typical of what I might encounter in my daily spaces."
